Rollover effects for images

Description: This script will make any image link depressible. Note that you will need an alternate image to display when the image is depressed.
Step 1: Copy these two images (or use your own) onto your hard drive by "right clicking" them, and choosing "save as".
green.gif (1694 bytes) red.gif (599 bytes)
Step 2: Insert this into the <head> section of your page. If you're using your own images, change "green.gif" and "red.gif" to your images' file names.

Step 3: Insert the below into the <head> section as well, following the above code:

Step 4: Finally (thank God you say!), insert the below into the <body> section of your page:
<a href="" onmouseover="filter('a','secondimage')" onmouseout="filter('a','firstimage')"> <img src="green.gif" name="a" border=0 width=40 height=40></a>

If you want multiple rollover images within one page, do the following:
Repeat Step 2, but
1) Change the two file paths inside the code to reflect the images you're using
2) Change the names "firstimage" and "secondimage" to something else that's unique (ie: "thirdimage" and "fourthimage").

Repeat Step 4, but
1) Change the parts in red to another unique name (ie: "b")
2) Change the parts in blue to reflect the names given in step 2 above.
